PING! TechTimez Launches Elevator Pitch Series on Youtube in Collaboration with WeWork

Startup news site Tech Timez is pleased to announce the launch of a new Youtube series called The Elevator Stepin collaboration with WeWork, a leading, global and flexible workspace provider.

The Elevator Step is a famous concept and has often been used in business schools to get students to present their ideas. Typically, students would have to pitch their business idea in 30 seconds – as if they stumbled into an elevator with a CEO or powerful investor they were eager to impress and get on board.

TechRound is pleased to bring The Elevator Step to life, partnering with WeWork to give the series a home.

Six exciting startup founders were filmed earlier this year at the WeWork Aviation House, next to Holborn tube station in Covent Garden, London.

Three of the participants are members of the WeWork Growth Campusa £15m initiative launched in 2021 offering its members subsidized workspace and access to its wide membership network – supporting opportunities to expand their business with the aim of boosting the UK entrepreneurial ecosystem following the disruption of the last 2 years old.

Participants include Josh White, co-founder of CANO Water and Forbes 30 under 30 laureate, and Rob Brockington, CEO of financial coaching app Claro Money.

The Elevator Step interviews are conducted by TechRound’s co-founder, Daniel Tannenbaum, who commented:

“This is an exciting initiative. The elevator pitch is an iconic business presentation technique and we are delighted to be the first company to offer it in a formal series.”

“The partnership with WeWork and the members of the Growth Campus initiative is fantastic. Through our upcoming videos, we will learn amazing things about these startups, especially those in technology and sustainability, how their ideas came about, their challenges and plans for growth.”

Mathieu Proust, WeWork UK, Ireland and Emerging Markets General Manager said: “It’s great to hear more about these inspiring startups, including members of our own WeWork Growth Campus initiative. Challenging times often spark innovative business ideas and solutions, and we are pleased to have supported many entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses with our flexible workspaces and membership network.”
